An OS is the most important software that a computer has. it manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs. All computer programs, excluding firmware, require an operating system to function.

In the case of computers, there are three OS that are the most famous: Windows, develop by first time by Microsoft in 1985; MacOS, also develop by first time by Apple in 1985; and GNU, the first open source operating system develop by Richard Stallman and other programers in 1983.

In the other hand, nowadays we have three famous OS for the mobile device: Android, a popular mobile operating system based on a modified version of the linux kernel (GNU), the first version was launched to the market in 2007; iOS, the apple's OS develop to be used on a iPhone SDK in 2008; And windows phone, launched by first time in the Mobile World Congress of Barcelona in 2010.
